Job Description

The Quality Control/Safety Coordinator is responsible for the quality inspection of built trusses and wall panels, recording data, interpreting the results, implementing changes and maintaining compliance with T.P.I. in order to maintain a high level of quality in the plant. He/she is also responsible for all safety equipment and training as well as workman's compensation claims.

  • Understand WTCA software for truss quality compliance
  • Understand 84 components quality standards
  • Inspect built trusses and wall panels using WTCA QA methods
  • Record date in the proper software
  • Interpret quality data
  • Implement changes in the plant in order to produce higher quality products
  • Stock all first aid supply stations as well as PPE
  • Assist with Safety Audits
  • Conducts Safety Meetings

Computer skills such as word processing software, spreadsheets, payroll system, and manufactuing software.

Physical Demands such as stand, walk, sit, use hands, climb or balance and carry objects 60lbs or more on a repetitive basis for long periods of time.


High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training.Associate's Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Work environment will be┬ábased upon outside weather conditions that could be extreme heat or cold.
