Job Description

The Premium Window Coordinator will work closely with Outside Salesmen to significantly increase 84's market share of premium windows & doors by providing constant support of all salespeople, especially small/medium size stores to grow sales faster.  The Premium Window Coordinator will assist Outside Salesmen by closing orders, preparing take offs, quoting, ordering, checking acknowledgments, as well as coordinating service jobs and part orders to support the custom /commercial business for builder retention and help 84 compete with existing competitor service functions.
  • Help increase store margin % and gross profit $ on premium windows & doors by maintaining agreed upon margins.
  • Significantly reduce order entry errors that create dead inventory resulting in lost profit and angry customers of the stores they support. 
  • Create stronger working relationships with local manufacturing sales reps building long term trust and lead inclusion.
  • Where possible, work in a store with substantial showroom to help answer clad window questions.
  • Work with warehouse managers to ensure receiving/staging/loading of products to streamline logistics and complete and on-time jobsite system.
  • Enter quotes thru POS and transfer them to each store manager who can then create purchase orders submit the order.   Or, to a centralized store with a dock, proper equipment and warehouse manager for large clad jobs.
  • All clad brands we partner with and vinyl windows/doors of existing vendor partners including Andersen; Jeld-Wen;  Plygem/Silverline + Mira, Quaker, others.
  • The PWC can also help on large complex commercial jobs that stores and Hubs are quoting and working on.
  • Computer Skills:  POS System, Inventory System, Human Resources System, Word Processing Software, Spreadsheet and Internet Software
  • Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. 
  • Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 6 months to 1 year experience of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
